Solar Panel Components - EVA
EVA is a hot-melt adhesive with a thickness between 0.4mm and 0.6mm. It features a smooth, uniform surface and contains a cross-linking agent. It is non-sticky and resistant at room temperature. After a certain temperature adjustment and hot pressing, it undergoes melt bonding and cross-linking to cure, becoming completely transparent. The cured EVA is resilient and can withstand atmospheric fluctuations. It serves as a cover and backing for the solar cells, encapsulating them. It is then combined with the upper protective material (glass) and the lower protective material (backsheet, TPT, BBF, etc.) using vacuum lamination technology. Furthermore, when bonded to glass, it increases the glass's light transmittance, acting as an anti-reflection agent and boosting the solar panel's output.
