Energy storage battery capacity calculation
The capacity of an energy storage battery needs to be determined based on the load's electricity demand and the power generation characteristics of the photovoltaic modules. For example, if the load requires 10 kWh of electricity per day, but the photovoltaic modules can only generate an average of 8 kWh per day, then the energy storage battery needs to be able to store at least 2 kWh of energy. At the same time, factors such as the battery's depth of charge and discharge, and self-discharge rate must also be considered. Generally speaking, to extend battery life, the depth of charge and discharge should not be too high, and it is usually recommended to keep it around 80%.
