The battery has a 15.36kWh useable capacity (15kWh nominal) and a high-performance LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry. In order to adapt to the utility power company's changing rate plans, the battery supports load shifting and self-consumption. If you reside in a region where grid disruptions are frequent, it can also be set up as a full backup power solution for your home.
The battery has three enclosure components that allow it to be installed outside and used in environments with temperatures ranging from -10 to 55 Fahrenheit. Both mounting the battery to the ground and mounting it to a wall are options. The battery has a warranty for 6,500 cycles.
