3) Good deep-cycle and deep-discharge capabilities.


4) Strong adaptability to diverse environments, with a wide operating temperature range and the ability to operate normally at high altitudes.


5) Low or no maintenance requirements and low price.


In solar photovoltaic power generation systems, commonly used energy storage batteries and devices include lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, alkaline batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and supercapacitors. In small or micro power generation systems, nickel-metal hydride batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries, lithium batteries, or supercapacitors are commonly used as energy storage devices. Due to performance and cost considerations, maintenance-free lead-acid batteries are currently the most widely used. Fixed valve-regulated, sealed, maintenance-free lead-acid batteries are the most commonly used in solar photovoltaic power generation systems.
