Brief Introduction to Energy Storage Batteries
The safety performance of individual energy storage battery cells, modules, and clusters must strictly comply with relevant regulations, such as GB/T36276, and pass inspection by a legally qualified testing institution, obtaining a type test report. When battery cells or modules use plastic as the casing or separator material, the flammability rating should not be lower than Class B1 as specified in GB 8624. Control harnesses and cables should use flame-retardant materials, electrical interfaces should preferably employ foolproof designs, and exposed live parts should be insulated and shielded to improve safety. Simultaneously, the battery module casing and energy storage cabinet should form a reliable equipotential bond, and thermal insulation materials such as mica or aerogel should be installed between individual cells within the energy storage battery module to effectively prevent safety issues caused by heat transfer.
